Seen pictured on the right below at the age of 10, Michael Raspantini stands next to his late, great aunt Mary D'Esposito, the individual he attributes to his getting involved with and becoming interested in civic matters at an early age.

Michael graduated with a Bachelor's in Communication from Hofstra University in 2003. He returned to his alma mater as a credentialed member of the media with the Commission on Presidential Debates where Michael covered former President Barak Obama's debates with John McCain and Mitt Romney in 2008 and 2012, respectively.
