Michael graduated with a Bachelor's in Communication from Hofstra University in 2003. He returned to his alma mater as a credentialed member of the media with the Commission on Presidential Debates where Michael covered former President Barak Obama's debates with John McCain and Mitt Romney in 2008 and 2012, respectively.
